Melanofree Hydroquinone 4% Cream 20g is a topical cream intended to treat conditions of the skin such as melasma, freckles, brown spots, uneven skin coloration, and dark marks left behind due to acne or skin irritation. Hydroquinone is normally prescribed by dermatologists for reducing skin pigmentation.Used in a moderate amount and with caution, this cream gradually makes some dark marks on the skin better. The cream does not heal any damage to the skin or remove acne scars.
It is supposed to be used sparingly in only the affected regions according to the recommendation of your physician and labeling on the original bottle. The application of this product should be avoided near the eyes, mouth, nose, broken skin, and large surface areas of your body. This medication should never be used in combination with retinoids, exfoliating agents, benzoyl peroxide, and other darkly-pigmented products unless recommended by your dermatologist.Sunscreen with a broad spectrum should be used daily to shield yourself from the sunlight since this medicine might make your melasma or brown spots worse. Avoid its application in case you suffer from irritation, inflammation, blistering, burning, and unexpected blue-black pigmentation. On some occasions, improper use of hydroquinone results in the formation of blue-black pigmentation of the skin gradually.
How to use
- Wash the pigmented area gently and make sure the skin is completely dry before application.
- Dab a small amount directly onto the dark spots and spread it into a thin layer without covering unaffected skin.
- Keep the cream away from the eyes, lips, cuts and irritated areas. Wash your hands after applying it.
- Use broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning and limit direct sun exposure. Stop using the cream if strong irritation or unusual skin darkening develops.
