Monobenzone Cream 80% 100g is characterized by the powerful depigmenting product recommended for individuals with disseminated vitiligo. Monobenzone, or monobenzyl ether of hydroquinone, acts on melanocytes, which are skin cells producing melanin.The idea behind the depigmentation using monobenzone is not to restore the pigment in white vitiligo spots, but gradually reduce natural pigmentation in healthy tissues to diminish the contrast between the pigmented and depigmented skin. The reduction of pigment may be gradual and extend beyond the boundaries of the applied product.

How to use

• Gently wash and dry the treatment area before applying the cream.

• Prevent contact with the eyes, lips, cuts, irritated skin and unintended areas. Wash your hands thoroughly after use, as monobenzone may cause permanent and uneven pigment loss.
• Protect the skin daily with broad-spectrum sunscreen and suitable clothing. Stop using the cream and seek medical help if severe burning, swelling, blistering or a persistent rash develops.
