Azelaic Acid Cream 20% w/w Ezanic Cream is meant to provide topical treatment of mild-to-moderate inflammatory acne. The active ingredient helps to get rid of bacteria responsible for the formation of acne and prevents excessive production of keratin leading to blocking of the pores. Long-term use can help to eliminate pimples, inflamed lumps, redness, whiteheads and blackheads contributing to improvement of the appearance of the skin.
The cream can be applied in a thin layer on a cleaned and dried skin. The effects usually appear slowly, thus the regularity of application is preferred over the excessive amount of product used. Application of the product on the skin of the eye area, mouth, irritated or injured skin is not recommended.
Application of the product can lead to such side effects as burning, stinging, itching, dryness, peeling, redness of the skin, especially during the first stage of the therapy. Harsh scrubs, strong exfoliating acids or several irritants for the treatment of acne can worsen the condition of the skin.
How to use
- Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying and then dry.
- Use a little quantity in the affected area twice a day.
- It is advisable to massage until fully absorbed but be sure to wash your hands after application.
- Avoid using it in mucous membrane, eyes, lips, mouth, and damaged skin.
